This version has been tested on Windows NT, Red Hat Linux 7.1 and Mac OS X 10.2.3, 10.3, 10.4.2, 10.4.6 with no known problems. System requirements ------------------- To run it under LispWorks you need one of the following: LispWorks 4.4 on UNIX, Windows, Linux or Macintosh. Patches: the latest patch bundle from http://www.lispworks.com/downloads/patch-selection.html LispWorks 4.3 on UNIX, Windows, Linux or Macintosh. Patches: the latest patch bundle from http://www.lispworks.com/downloads/patch-selection.html plus the parse-integer patch for Windows or Linux which is obtainable by mailing lisp-support@lispworks.com. LispWorks 4.2 on UNIX, Windows or Linux. Patches: the latest patch bundle from http://www.lispworks.com/downloads/patch-selection.html. LispWorks 4.1 on UNIX, Windows or Linux. Patches: the latest patch bundle from http://www.lispworks.com/downloads/patch-selection.html plus if you have CLIM loaded then you will need the patch: atomic-incf-decf-delta which is obtainable by mailing lisp-support@lispworks.com LispWorks 4.0.1 on Windows. Patches: the latest patch bundle from http://www.lispworks.com/downloads/patch-selection.html plus if you have CLIM loaded then you will need the patch: atomic-incf-decf-delta which is obtainable by mailing lisp-support@lispworks.com Compiling and running CL-HTTP ----------------------------- 1) For LispWorks 4.0.1 and 4.1, locate the private patches and edit the defparameter in lw/pre-cl-http.lisp *private-patches-directory* to contain the name of the directory of the patches. The value should be a string with a trailing slash to denote a directory. For LispWorks 4.2 and 4.3, add any private patches to the private-patches directory in the LispWorks installation. 2) Start the LispWorks executable. 3) [UNIX only] Either start the LispWorks windowing environment or execute (mp:initialize-multiprocessing) from the tty prompt. Alternatively, supply the -multiprocessing option when starting the executable. 4) Load lw/start.lisp. The loading script asks various questions, such as you whether want to compile and whether you want to start the server. To run CL-HTTP on the LispWorks Personal Edition, leave the default settings to conserve memory. Please report any bugs to bug-lw-cl-http@no-spam.cl-http.org.
